Ever since I discovered Hopper, a plane ticket planner/predictor/tracker app, I’ve been telling people about it. But especially after we booked round trip tickets to Paris for under $600, more people are asking about it.
It’s a free app, simple to use, and perfect for knowing WHERE you want to go, but not necessarily WHEN.
It’ll show you when the less expensive flights are, when to buy the tickets, track them if prices are predicted to drop, then ping you before they go up. It’ll help you compare flights, dates, and airports.
Then you can select your flights, get sent to a site to buy them (usually Travelocity), and feel good that you got the right deal. (My wife always would kick herself for not buying tickets when she wanted to and then paying more later - this solves that problem.)
